Since success is defined other than just by performance, scholarships offered by the Opération Bonne Mine encourage the emergence of social, creative, citizen, and human skills.

With a value of $250 at the elementary school level, and $500 at high school, the scholarships recognize young people with atypical school experiences facing multiple challenges, who stand out because of their work and school success accomplishments.

Awarded at a prestigious gala, we invite parents and teachers to an evening that is rich in emotions and talents.

Our Spokesperson

Marie-Evelyne Lessard is a Quebec film and television actress. In 2020, she played the lead role in The Decline, Quebec's first film funded, produced and distributed by Netflix. Since 2019, she has been the spokesperson for the Opération Bonne Mine program of the Saint-Vincent Paul Society of Montreal.

«Feeling appreciated and talented is fundamental for young people. I am convinced that this goes through school, through the adults who supervise them and through the projects in which they participate. It is therefore quite naturally and with pride that I accepted to be the spokesperson for the Operation Bonne Mine program!»
